Nike Zoom Kobe VI "Rice" Away
The new Nike Zoom Kobe VI continues to make a strong debut with this striking new colorway for this year's "Rice" Away style.
This latest custom Nike Zoom Kobe V is made for Harlem's Rice Catholic High School and sports the school's logo on the medial heels of each Nike Zoom Kobe VI shoe while a mamba snake head appears on the opposite sides. With a black upper, the golden scales pop out dramatically and are sure to turn heads.
The eye candy doesn't stop there as the heel counter makes use of a golden iridescent effect that ties the entire shoe together. Hits of lime green are seen on the swoosh, Kobe branding, and the translucent outsole of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI shoe.
With the Kobe VI off to a strong start already, it looks to be a very promising year for fans of this signature line.

If the Zoom Kobe M.S. (Make Sense) launched last year is the "Lite" version of Nike Zoom Kobe VI and Nike Zoom Kobe V, the new Zoom Kobe Venomenon must be the Lite version of the Zoom Kobe VI. Base on the VI’s silhouette, the Venomenon is designed for durable purpose.
As a result, there are no hi-tech materials such as ultra-light weight lunarfoam or flywire used on it, in exchange for lower price tag and add of durable materials for outdoor basketball.
The Venomenon uses a similar T-sharp ankle support system with the VI's and features mamba's print on the forefoot upper.
Things get a bit more interesting on the sole, where a crazily patterned sole should provide excellent traction on outdoor courts, while a carbon fibre spring plate will also keep them strong. The first color to come is one of the home colorways of Lakers – White/Concord. Same as the Zoom Kobe V & Nike Zoom Hyperfuse shoes, it also comes with black mamba new box.
